"White Rabbit" was performed by Emilíana Torrini and was the sixth song used in the movie. It is the third track on the Sucker Punch soundtrack.

"White Rabbit" was written by Grace Slick and originally appeared on Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow (1967) -- the first album she recorded with the band. Another version of this song was covered on Collide's third album, Chasing the Ghost; a remix in the very same style was used on the soundtrack for Resident Evil: Extinction.

"White Rabbit" is preceded by "Army of Me" on the soundtrack, and is followed by "I Want It All/We Will Rock You". It's split into two songs for the Sucker Punch: Complete Motion Picture Score: "Debriefing" and "Map (White Rabbit Outro)", which are the 8th and 12th tracks, respectively.

Movie story[]

SuckerPunchTrench

The wise man and the girls making their march to the location of their briefing.

Vera played "White Rabbit" for Babydoll's "audition" at the brothel. Blue was watching and became enchanted, allowing Sweet Pea time to sneak into Blue's office and photocopy his map of Lennox House for the girls' escape plan.

Lyrics[]

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet tall

And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call
To call Alice, when she was just small

When the men on the chessboard get up
And tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know

When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead
And the white knight is talking backwards
And the red queen's off with her head
Remember what the dormouse said:
Feed your head, feed your head!
