Jamie Chung plays Amber, an inmate at Lennox House in Sucker Punch.


Jamie Jilynn Chung was born in San Francisco on April 10, 1983, and raised in the Bay area.

Jamie's big break came in 2004, when she was cast in The Real World: San Diego, and followed that with MTV's game show Real World/Road Rules Challenge in 2005.

She make the transition to acting with a guest role on Veronica Mars in 2006. Then came more guest shots, on series like Days of Our Lives, Greek, ER and CSI: NY. Also in 2007, Jamie made her big-screen debut in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. In 2008 she nabbed her first leading role, the title character in the TV series Samurai Girl.

More supporting roles followed on silver screen and the small screen until she was cast to replace Emma Stone as Amber in Sucker Punch. Also in 2011, she appeared as Lauren, the bride-to-be, in The Hangover Part II.

Josie currently has a recurring role on NBC's Once Upon a Time TV series as Mulan.

  • Jamie was working as a waitress at a bar called Tremors when the Real World crew conducted auditions there; she was convinced by the crew to try out, and she was cast.
